Beautiful cottage garden
At the rear of the holiday let is a fully enclosed sunny cottage garden that’s as inviting as the cottage itself, offering year-round colour and interest. As one guest commented, “The garden is private enough to sit in one’s bathrobe with a cup of tea in the morning autumn sunshine, and still very pretty – even in October.”
We’ve put careful thought into planting the garden to encourage wildlife, including birds and insects, creating a tranquil outdoor retreat. It’s a lovely spot for nature-lovers, with guests often telling us about the birds and animals they’ve seen and heard. “We had many meals outside, and one evening we saw bats flying above us and could hear owls in the distance,” said one.
You’ll find outdoor seating for relaxation and alfresco dining, with a charming garden room providing a cosy space to unwind on chillier days. There’s also an external utility area with a washing machine and sink available for your convenience – perfect for rinsing off muddy boots!
